Halloween Decor Theme Ideas | Home & Decor Ideas

This Halloween, I decided to go with a Midsommar/natural witch theme. I really love the film, Midsommar (2019) and I also love The Blair Witch Project (1999), so I've always wanted to try some kind of theme involving each of those films.

I don't know about you, but it's kind of hard for me to determine what kind of theme I will have for Halloween until I see what the stores decide to launch for decor themes. I use what I already have as well, but sometimes you have to think outside of the box to find pieces that work that aren't necessarily geared towards Halloween decor (the same goes for decorations for any other time of the year as well).

I found some cool wreaths on Amazon and at Michaels, some moss at Joann Fabrics and shelves on Amazon for my potion bottles. I filled most of the potion bottles with decorative glass, baking powder and water, depending on what the label said, to add some authenticity. I found some natural witch spellbooks on Amazon, to add to the theme. so you can definitely find Halloween decor outside of typical Halloween decor, as long as you have something specific in mind for a theme.

What theme did you decide on for this year? I love seeing what other people come up with and seeing how creative everyone is! Do you look forward to Halloween each year? What is your favorite holiday? Do you decorate for Halloween early? What about Christmas? I decorate for both pretty early, so I understand getting excited about favorite holidays.
